6 weeks ago bought 2 dressing gowns(different sizes) and top. 3 weeks was waiting for delivery, finally wrote an email to ASDA customer service, but no response. Other day called them, lady said that I will get my delivery in 48 hours, after another week I wrote them another email, because there was still no delivery, but no response again. Then called second time, the answer was like first time - delivery in 48 hours.......... So how many days are 48 hours?????
Delivery not made for groceries. No one contacted me. Call centre refused to refund the delivery cost even though 24 hrs later I do not have the items they are meant to have delivered! Had to argue with them till they refunded delivery cost. Was told someone from the store would contact me. Noone has 18 hours after delivery time . They have charged my account for the groceries I do not even have and refund will take 10 days. Ironically this was me giving then a second chance after the exact same thing happened a year ago where they repeatedly told me my delivery would be with me with the next hour , for an entire 24 hour period. No apology, money taken from my account for no groceries delivered. Just appalling.
Went onto their site to complain about the delivery company they use DPD. Asda direct even worse. Apparently it's acceptable for planned deliveries of expensive items not to arrive. They can't see a problem with taking another day off work in case they decide to revisit. No managers to speak to or web site to complain on. Do yourself a favour and avoid altogether.
The worst customer service/shopping experience ever.
Order has been delivered to wrong address and Asda refusing to refund money. Accusing me of stealing it even though the delivery company quoting to deliver in to block of flat on my street. There is NO flats on my street just houses!!! Hours spend on the phone to call centre in South Africa, I have been lied to, never called back and NEVER transferred to speak to manager. I'm robbed and totally demoralised. Needs trading standards investigation.
Delivery driver was very late and rude. Blamed me for asking too!
Customer services suck, they don't follow up and don't care.
Won't be wasting my time with them again. First and last order.
They DID however deliver all the items I ordered (unlike Waitrose) hence 2 stars.
Something tells me I've been too generous ...
IT IS SHOCKING THAT A COMPANY OF THIS SIZE CAN GET AWAY THIS THIS, I ORDERED 30 STORAGE BOXS IN 3 DIFFERENT ORDERS OF 10 ON THE 25TH- PAID EXTRA FOR NEXT DAY DELIVERY - HAD TO CALL THEM TO BE TOLD THAT ONLY 1 HAS BEEN SENT AND THAT WONT EVEN BE HERE ON THE 27TH - 30 MINS + ON HOLD ASKING TO SPEAK WITH A MANGER NO LUCK - JUST A REFUND AND 30 POUND VOUCHERS -
I JUST WANTED MY ORDER !!!
DO NOT USE !!!!!!! DO NOT LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT !!!
NOW ON THE PHONE AGAIN 2 DEC ASKING ABOUT MY REFUND HAS NOT BEEN PROCESSED ANOTHER 20 MIN HOLD FOLLOWED BE A LOT OF DRAMA
Absolutely appalling. Asda charged my card for products then only delivered half the order. Did not give me an invoice or receipt as apparently order had been cancelled on their system (by them! not me) so could not generate a receipt.
Deliveryman very rude. Told me that he did not even 'need to deliver to you' as the order was cancelled and that he was 'doing me a favour'. Thanks for doing me such a massive favour asda by cancelling my order without telling me, then having half my order delivered anyway by a rude, aggressive deliveryman, and charging me for the full amount. Call to their customer service to get a refund for the goods NOT delivered - they only refunded me the delivery charge - £3 instead of £40!
Seriously AVOID!! Your peace of mind, time and money is not worth the hugh headache dealing with Asda is. You may think you save money, but as you can see from all the negative ratings, it's touch and go if you will even receive your order and not be charged for it.
I am now out of pocket for goods not received but charged for which I equate to stealing.

Ok so I order a xbox one asda take payment out, couple days later I get a phone call from customer service saying my order would come today but according to track my order on asdas website it hasn't even been dispatched yet customer adviser was to hard to understand I think she was Pakistani or Indian so it was a little hard to understand what she was saying and didn't make the "supposed" delivery date very clear, and I quote "your order will come on the 25th".
What 25th of November or December first online order from asda and the last online order I make till customer service gets their info correct, got in contact with asda the number that phoned asda claimed it wasn't them, but it turns out they were out of stock even through the website stated they were in stock but they took my money and now have to wait 3-10 days for a refund, never ever going to use asda online or in store again They didn't even have the decency to contact me
Placed order for two tyres on a Monday. Stated delivery Friday. Went to fitting centre at arranged time.
Tyres not delivered & fitting centre knew nothing about the order.
E-mailed Asda, quick reply, deliver Saturday before 10.30 hrs & fitting centre will contact me.
Contacted fitting centre on Saturday after 10.30hrs. Still no tyres & fitting centre not expecting a delivery, & did not agree to any arrangements.
Following this I cancelled order.
Have used Asda direct for xmas presents for a few years. They have good choice and prices however woe betide you if you need to use the customer service department, which to my mind is the worst of the big supermarkets (which is like saying the worst deckchair on the titanic).
Weeks turn to months for refunds, no apologies and no respect.
I wish I had read some of these reviews before I ordered my bookcase. It arrived damaged. When I spoke to someone to arrange a replacement, I asked whether it would be delivered when the old one was picked up. The woman just laughed at me. "Oh no. We'll need to see the damage before we make a decision". I am STILL waiting for something, anything, to happen. I've emailed twice and had no reply. No refund and no replacement. ASDA should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves with this service - it's appalling.
What can I say....it was worse than unacceptable and unreasonable. We ordered a mattress from Asda Direct at the end of September and it was delivered mid October damaged. It was returned a few days later. Well the servivce from then on was awful. I orignally requested a replacement but that was never ordered, I was promised a delivery refund and that never happened and to top it off the replacement was never ordered. After numerous phone calls to the Adsa Customer Services I requested a refund, and what a chore that was. At present I am still waiting for the refund to appear in my account I got so many promises of calls back which never happened, I even sent a complaint in and got a reference which was never investigated. Even the Asda CEO Andy Clarke got an e-mail asking for assistance and guess what... you got it he never replied either. So finally I am on the last leg and have a new mattress from a company that can deliver next day or my chosen day and Asda are finally giving me my money back!! Supposedly and still waiting I would never suggest Asda Direct to anyone. Asda should know that people tell 10 people about good customer service and 100 when it is really bad. Well it was bad....nothing more to say!
my oh my where'd i begin with this bunch of clowns. ok so previous order they overcharged me for an item. i called customer services. systems down. called a further 4 times before they gave me a voucher on my account. which leads me to my xmas shop which i thought i had done. used the forementioned voucher towards it, only to find when i tried to make a slight amendment to my order, the voucher which had been given previously for a mistake on their part, and had an expiry of Dec '13, had actually been deleted from my account!! so i phoned customer 'services'. systems down. AGAIN. so i have now had to cancel the order. and as i have a card that isnt accepted at Tesco im now in chaos thanks to these morons, and not for the first time. to everyone, please dont use. they overcharge, they take more money without warning you. your christmas will be ruined if you shop with these bunch of incomptant, moneygrabbing clowns.
I ordered an item from Asda direct and was given a date to collect my item when I arrived to collect it in store I was informed that they`d made a mistake and my item hadn't arrived , the same item was on the shop shelf at that particular Asda but I was told they couldn't let me have the same item from them as it wasn't the same as Asda direct I needed the item for the following morning but they said there was nothing they could do . I spent out again to buy the same item in their store so I had it to use the next day . then I got a message to say my original item was going to be 2 days late I sent a message to say cancel the item it was no longer required but the item was still sent to the store 2 days later , I asked the store to cancel the order for me and refund the money back to my card I was told that I wouldn't get the money refunded for 5 days it is an absolute bad customer service not to have anyone available who is able to work between the asda direct side and the asda store in future I will use a different supermarket as they are better at customer service and their manafgers seem to be available to sort things out as needed.
Asda recently getting really poor with it's service....first new website when busy takes me over 40 minutes to order 36 items!......as usual DELI BAKERY NEWSPAPER items ordered always show not available!......today MULTI BEER offer 2 x £15 failed to show on promotions saved....double checked site and the products ordered Guinness Draught and Bud Light with Lime shown in section SHOW all 2 x £15 products....customer services very so so on giving feedback...but did refund £2 overcharged....do not trust ASDA's computer's to understand their OWN promotions...CHECK EVERY ITEM and that your promotions advertised are CHARGED CORRECTLY...
Asda still has best prices and I know by not having loyalty cards etc ARE 10% cheaper!
Asda drivers's always on time and very courteous....well done.
Bring back the old website...Give your computer's a VERBAL WARNING!!!

Used to use sainsburys delivery weekly, but ASDA is so much better!! On-time delivery, no problems finding my house (Sainsbury's always struggled), great offers, Sunday delivery, good customer service, can't really fault it. Only issue was some of their substitutions are a bit odd... if i order standard white sliced bread, substitute another brand of sliced bread not a ciabatta loaf. But really happy with everything and so much cheaper!!
Having previously been happy enough with asda direct delivering items to store on time for collection how wrong was I to think that having them deliver an item to me at home would be the same smooth option!! Ordered a Wooden kitchen from the website on the 16th October with the delivery date set for the 19th great I thought prompt fast delivery in time for my daughters birthday, oops wrong! Delivery did arrive on the 19th however they delivered a Wooden Dolls house not as per order form wooden kitchen! My partner rang the helpful soles on customer services that very same morning stating that the item delivered was incorrect, there reply was to ask if we would rather keep the item delivered in place of the one we actually wanted! My partner agreed as we had thought to order the dolls house anyway so spoke with the polite woman on the phone and agreed and stated that we would re-order a Kitchen, later that now fateful day on the 19th Oct we re-ordered a wooden kitchen and for good measure some furniture for the dolls house total outlay now £87.90 when initially £35 was what we wanted to spend but why not spoil our daughter for a change. We arranged for the furniture to be delivered to our local store for collection as the website indicates that the Kitchen is only available for home delivery, fine hopefully they’ll get it right this time! The 21st October my partner received the email stating that all items ” had been dispatched and were on there way to you” there words, the collection went without fuss from our local Asda, the kitchen however never materialised so 25th Oct we rang the jolly chaps at customer services to see were in fact our delivery of the kitchen was? The delightful Chloe at the other end told my partner that see would speak to delivery and ring her back fine. November 1st still no call back?? I rang spoke with a different young lady called Jaime who again stated she will ring me back within the hour with a reason doh stupid me, November 7th again different woman Candice started to help but still couldn’t give me any answer wanted it sorted there and then but due to the incompetence taking so long was late to collect my son from after school club, her words to me were “I’ll be having my dinner but will ring you back by no later than 1800hrs promise!!” gullable idiot me but son still waiting so fine. 1800hrs comes and goes no call, so blood boiling at being totally ignored not once, not twice but three time re call the incompetent soles at customer services and when call is answered but yet a 4th different woman ask immediately to speak with a supervisor, after giving relevant information to this 4th lady Ronita, put on hold awaiting a manager....... 8 mins pass the bubbly Ronita comes back on and says she is still unable to locate a manager I reply I’ll hold........ a further 10 mins pass when Ronita comes on to said that at this time there is no manager for me to speak with would I like to leave my number for a call back, a think we know the answer to that question!! I ask and receive the manager’s name who couldn’t be bothered to speak with me, a one Stanton Cupido who doesn’t have an email address who I can email who doesn’t have a direct number to call so customer services email it is to complain. I tell the now grovelling Ronita that I would like this order cancelling and for me to receive a full refund for the cost of the Kitchen and delivery, that’s fine she states, it will be back in your account within 15-20 working days!! WHAT, YOU MUST BE JOKING!!! She is then unable to answer any questions relating to why it should take so long for a refund so again I request to speak with a manager guess what 5 mins on hold and the now crawling Ronita comes back on to say that there is still no manager available, I ask why and her reply is that they are managing? What you my ask I have no idea but given the other reviews on this site then maybe some one else got in before me to complain!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR HOME DELIVEREY THEY ARE UTTERLY INCOMPETANT AND THERE CUSTOMER SERVICES ARE ABOUT AS USEFUL AS A CHOCOLATE FIRE GUARD!! We subsequently went elsewhere for a kitchen for my daughter and received excellent customer service and prompt delivery!!
The home shopping with this company has absolutely no upside whatsoever.I made the big mistake of paying up front for three months worth of deliveries because it was cheap and on offer. What a waste of money!
The grocery service never seems to have what you ordered, and the substitutions are terrible, so options are to opt for no substitutions or send the rubbish you end up with back. Either way, you then have to trek to the shops to get what you need, - thus defeating the whole object of having it delivered. Living some distance from any shops,I have so far spent so much on fuel I'm out of pocket instead of saving
As for Asda direct, - three items on my order, arrived separately, very badly packed so two of them smashed. Then told to drive to nearest collect+ point .......15 miles away, and then expect a delay of 10 days before receiving a refund! I did manage to get my point across on that one and they agreed to collect, but could not say when. Several hard to understand phone calls later to their so called customer services got it sorted in the end, though I more than feel the need for a stiff drink now, and I don't even drink!
Don't touch them. Not a patch on the service you get from Tescos, and certainly doesn't work out cheaper in the end
Reading all these reviews has at least made me feel I am not the only one to experience the shocking customer service at Asda. Have only used the home shopping service for a couple of months and think have only had two delivers that came at the right time and had the right things. Four times my shopping hasn't come at all but they have taken the money out and I have had to ring and argue for a refund. This last week has been the worst. Driver only bought a few items and said if I signed for the whole lot he would personally see to it that I got the rest that evening. That was a week ago! Never heard from him again. Have rung at least once a day every day since and three times today. Different person at customer services say how sorry they are and promise me I will get a call back from the store. This is said every time. No one calls. Last time I called this evening I called the store and was told that the manager of home shopping would call me this evening. It is gone 10pm and no call. I want my money back! I have never experienced such terrible customer service as this amd honestly don't know how they are keeping in business. I am spending a fortune calling them and having to hang on for ages as they are 'experiencing higher than average call volume'. I'm not surprised! I am seriously considering writing to Watchdog. I will fight on to get my money back. But will never use them again. I don't want to be fobbed off with evouchers as I will not use them so is an empty apology. I am disabled and this is really starting to distress me.
To begin with my £350 order is a day late, it was meant to come yesterday and I payed the special delivery charge. I rang up customer service and after a lot of debating with the lady (who I could not understand nor could she understand me) she refunded me the delivery charge.
So today I received my email to say the order was on its way... When it arrived I only had one item (out of 53) so I checked my email and was shocked to see I have 11 separate deliveries for my order. Only 1 has come so far and it's 2 in the afternoon. What a joke! I wish that I could have somehow been warned that it was going to come in that many separate times, I understand it does say some items may be delivered separately but 11 times is a joke.

I bought an electric fire from ASDA DIRECT, thinking the customer service would be good,....how STUPID do I feel now.
It took 5 days to arrive, despite being sincerely promised it would be with me in 2. The item is STILL shown as awaiting delivery on their website.
When it came it was faulty, I sent it back over a week ago, and am STILL waiting for my refund. If you try contact them by telephone, you get a Asian call centre, where there are massive communication issues.
Sorry ASDA, you have lost a customer, after this debacle I won't even set foot in another Asda.
Wish I could have given them zero stars. With competition as it is these days, you really would think a company like this would operate much better.
Three times now I have ordered clothing items on line to be delivered to my local store and on all these occasions the items went "missing" by Yodel and so I never received them. I have written complaints to Asda as their customer service team are hopeless, but have never received a reply, let alone an apology.
I will NOT be using Click and Collect ever again. Plus a word of advice - use paypal to pay as it's easier to get a refund - takes hours instead of weeks!!
The last month I used asda for my groceries. I got rotten peppers, broken packages, close to expiry date products (same day and next day expiration) and thawed tomatoes.
The last incident was yesterday in which my delivery did not arrive. I was waiting and waiting but the delivery never came. I called the customer's service line and the person there was really rude and said that the delay was caused by other customers picking up their groceries. Even if this was the case, it is really unprofessional to make such excuses. Also he mentioned that I have to show pity for their own-one driver. Like it is my problem because they only have one driver!
I checked my orders online on the asda website today and I found out that they cancelled my ordered and I got no notification about it. Not even a reason of why this happened.
I don't really get why they offer a groceries delivery service.

After accidentally recieving a car park ticket at an ASDA carpark i found their customer service was terrible.
I'm £85 out of pocket and they don't care about thier customers.
Store manager Mike Doidge - rude and not helpful.
Customer service advisor Mary-Ann Lied to me and couldn't help
Customer service manager William Hayton - Didn't even phone back
2 days later after i sent an email stating i wasn't going to be a customer anymore i recieved a call off someone called Rob who wouldn't even tell me his full name and he was as useful as a choclolate tea pot.
DON'T SHOP AT ASDA!!!

I have faith in their improvement - noticeable during the last few months - and I sincerely believe their online service is the very definition of average, with the exception of slow delivery with larger items.
I ordered shopping from asda and live in flats on the 4th floor but there is a lift. I read there policy and it said nothing about leaving my shopping ourside the complex becasue there is apparently a health and safety that they cant go in communal areas. This was not advertised so how was I meant to get my shopping into the complex so no one would steal it and I couldnt understand the women that answered the customer service line. ABSOLUTELY USELESS!!

I ordered a coat to be delivered to the store, which stated if I ordered by 5pm on the Friday, then I could collect the next day from 5pm on the Saturday.
When I used the tracking facility the next day, it appeared that my order hadn't even been dispatched, so I called customer services who estimated this would be ready to collect by the Tuesday.
The tracking facility shows my order being received at the store on the Monday evening, only to be despatched back to my local depot on the Tuesday evening! I called Asda Direct once again, who said there was nothing they can do, and if my order is on my way back to them, it can apparently take 7 days...
Essentially, they can't help as my order is lost in transit, and I have to just wait and see what happens with it. I feel like if my order is lost, then I'll have to grin and bear it (I feel like you have more protection shopping on eBay!)
I think Asda need to get their customer service sorted out, as they can see this order is being sent back, offer to send me out another item now or give me a refund. A complaint will be winging it's way to them, and if I haven't had a satisfactory resolution by Friday I'll be contacting Trading Standards and Watchdog.
*Further to this, I called Asda again to make a complaint, and the person on the phone had the sensible idea of calling the store. She called me back as promised, and informed me that my order had been there the whole time, and would be ready for delivery within the hour.
If only the first person I had spoken to had done this! If you have a missing order with them, insist on them calling the "click and collect" store involved to check.
They are often late (this time 45 minutes late for an hour slot). One time my shopping just didn't turn up, they said that they could redeliver in a few days time - what am I supposed to do without food for a few days?! Items often aren't delivered - this time half my shopping (the most important half) just didn't turn up! (The driver rocked up late and mentioned 'there might be a few items missing' he wasn't able to say which and it wasn't noted down so I had to go through the items one by one playing spot the difference between the receipt and the items delivered, literally half my shop was missing!) And the substitutions are often completely random and bizarre, such as being substituted meat for specifically vegetarian products. An utter disgrace!
Just used Asda online shopping for 1st time. Numerous substitutions. Money not refunded to my account for substitutions rejected. Customer care non existent. Customer care is located in SOUTH AFRICA and advisors just don't care about whether someone thousands of miles away gets their items, gets their money refunded or gets a good local service. The customer advisor I spoke to was incomprehensible, arrogant and useless. His advice was if you don't like it then don't shop there. Best advice I've heard in a while, thanks, I won't.
After recently visiting an Asda store for the first time in a long while, I was amazed at the great selection and fair prices of their products. This is what led me to make a home delivery order. As a first time customer, I was hopeful that everything would run smoothly. However, on completion of my £49.89 worth of groceries order, my house mate, reminded me she too had used Asda recently and the delivery didn't turn up on the day she had booked it for. I was concerned, but I thought I would be unlucky for that to happen to me too.
My order was due to arrive between 7 and 9pm. At 8.59pm there was still no sign of my shopping, so I called the helpline number from my order confirmation email. I was on hold for 20 minutes! Eventually I decided to give up; I was calling from my mobile as we don't have a landline in the house to take advantage of the 0800 number. The hilarious thing about the call was that the recorded message kept saying I would have to wait "a little longer" than normal due to high call volumes! If 20 minutes and counting is "a little longer" than normal, I dread to think what the standard answering time is.
Just as I was preparing to go to bed, to my surprise at gone half past 9 the Asda van pulled up outside! Two ladies appeared at the door and sheepishly apologised for the delay. I was told that 4 or 5 of my items had been substituted. I was happy with all but one - the bread. I wanted a fresh, sliced loaf and wanted to check the replacement was sliced. As we looked through the bags it was clear the bread was not there. When I asked for the bread to be refunded the ladies said they would have to take away my order sheet and refund me back at the store because they didn't have their palm computer on them to do a refund at the door (like Sainsbury's do).
It was at this point looking down at the bags, I realised that actually there didn't seem to be very much there at all - I had ordered almost £50 worth of shopping and there was probably about 3 complete bags worth in the crate. The ladies offered to check off the items before I accepted the delivery. The first item they went to check off were three large cartons of milk - all different brands - I had only ordered one. At this point I just wanted to give up, everything with this delivery had been a disaster and I wanted a full refund. Ultimately, I didn't believe Asda deserved my £50 for this poor service.
The ladies said that they would process a full refund as soon as they got back to the store but they would have to take my order sheet with them. This shocked me as I would not have any proof that these ladies had been and that I had rejected the order due to the bad service. So I asked for their names and the store they had come from (Asda Hollingbury in Brighton). They told me if I needed to speak to someone, to call Judith to Home Delivery Manager at the store.
I called Judith the following morning to make a complaint and to check whether my refund had been processed. After listening to the horribly cold, almost rude, recorded message, I got through to Judith. Her incompetence was a shock. She flapped about for sometime and then told me she couldn't find my order. She then said she'd have to call me back. The whole time I was on the phone I was waiting to hear Judith say sorry for the bad service I had received and as a Manager at the store for her to take some responsibility for what had happened. The call was coming to a close and still no apology was offered! In fact eventually I had to ask for one! After an hour and half with no call back, I called again and spoke to a male employee in Judith's team. He told me he had to call the refund through to a helpline number and that it could take up to 5 days for me to get my money back. Again I was shocked that I could be without almost £50 to put towards another shop for that long! The male employees tone was unhelpful and he obviously didn't care about the inconvenience their store had caused. Even when he could hear how frustrated I was, he offered no apology and refused to take responsibility for the store/company. He was trying to shift the blame to make me feel like I had no right to be upset. He even told me he was too busy to process my refund immediately! Never in my life have I been so disgraced with a retailer!
I have worked in retail for a number of years and strongly believe that good customer service is the unconditional right of good customers! Employees of Asda are paid money (thanks to its customers!) to be ambassadors of the brand and to make sure all customers are dealt with respectfully. I also know the best marketing tool for any business are recommendations generated by word of mouth. However, I can assure you that I will never shop with Asda again and I will tell all my friends and family about this horrible experience. I'm sure my house mate will also be doing the same - especially seeing as she hasn't even had a response to her complaint.
It's been 5 days since I sent an email of complaint to the Customer Services email and I've had not had a reply or even an acknowledgement of receipt. I checked my bank account today and low and behold my money still hasn't been refunded. I called the store again and was told that it would take at least half an hour to find out if my refund had been processed.
I would love to ask the CEO of ASDA whether he thinks it is acceptable to take people's money, give them the worst customer experience and then make it as hard as possible for them to get it back when goods have been refused? I do wonder whether due to the low prices at ASDA they believe it's okay to scrimp on customer service standards. I will be sharing my story with as many people as possible (including Watchdog) so that word gets around about how terrible ASDA are.
They still have £208 of my money approximately 2months after they charged me for a delivery I did not want! I had ordered 36 bottle of wine on special offer - they delivered a 'range' of alternative wines in plastic bags (not even boxes.....) and demanded that my 13 yr old daughter carry them all into the house! Finally got them to pick them up in early August, but they still have not refunded me the over £200!
Initially put in online request for refund - but nothing happened. When I contacted the customer services line (twice) they stated unable to refund me as needed to be done locally & I would be called that day. They never called....
Took forever to register,
search facility was useless. Asking for lactose free milk produced Smirnoff vodka as an answer!
When ordered driver claimed I wasn't at home to deliver to even though I have a broken leg and can't leave home. No attempt to call landline was made
Rang when I found the note through the front door. Driver had left an invalid extension number. When I got through they said they'd call the driver and ring me back. Never did.
Tried again. No reply at all from any of the helplines just constant message saying due to high volume of calls they were busy.
No useful online system for tracking. The one they have wouldn't accept the order number as valid even though I was copying and pasting it from their own email. Absolute rubbish from start to finish.
Been trying to resolve a problem with my Asda Online grocery shopping account since Thursday. Despite numerous calls, tweets and emails I have received no real assistance. Waited 30 minutes yesterday to speak to someone in customer services who said problem would be escalated to a manager - still no resolution. 4 emails now to the CEO Andy Clarke - obviously a complete waste of time - he doesn't reply to them, much like the rest of his staff. Have today told them I will never use Asda again and I won't. Asda customer service does not exist!
I know the 50 pound evoucher was a mistake in the end but at first I did not know this and made a order which was a present and when I got told was not going to deliver this I phones them and the person I spoke to was horrible and even when I asked to speak to the manger she refused and said he won't take my call I said does he not care about his customers and she said no so I made her repeat this two more times and recorded it when finally got through to the manager (after 3 phone calls) he was more useless and arrogant as any of them and the evoucher mistake I asked about again he stated was a trusted customer who had give out the evoucher bit when asked another employee they stated that someone hacked into asda system and stole the code so which is it because I someone can do that is my bank details safe when I order online?
I made my Asda delivery slot and ordered our shopping.
I was informed the day before that we had a lawyers appiontment that conflicted with Asda.
I phoned the number in the e-mail I recieved from Asda about any Queries on 0800 952 6060.
This number was not recognised.
Phoned customer services who I frankly could not understand. Told the guy I spoke to to cancel my order. He said the order was cancelled.
As I was leaving to go to the lawyers In a taxi Asda turned up. The driver wasn't interested and dumped the messages in the pouring rain.
Arrived at the lawyers and was told I was being charged for being late.
I will not use Asda home delivery again.
I booked a online delivery for today between 1pm 3pm, got an email saying my food would arrive in the one hour slot 1pm 2pm thought great
After 2pm nothing but then I had chosen 1pm till 3pm after 3 pm nothing I called them at 430 pm to ask wha was happening
She said there was a problem at the store so deliverys were running late, but said my order was still arriving but couldn't tell me what time, I'm still waiting and it's 830 pm ?

I have been charged my order £193 and I have never received it. This is just unacceptable. I have made several phone calls to the centre and I have been totally ignored. Disgraceful. I will never shop at ASDA again. I want my money back ASAP.

Ordered shopping fro delivery 11:00 - 1:00 pm slot. Arrived at 14:55, no apology. customer services tried to blame the driver for not informing me, the driver blamed customer services for not informing me "someone shoudl have phoned you" - "who?" i asked - no answer. To add insult to inhury the substitutions (which were many )as ausual)) had no relation to the original order. Finally, realised they had neglected to reimburse me for the substitutions i did not want.
The worst service I have ever expereinced - will never use asda home shopping again.
P.S. this is not the first time this has happened, but thought i would give them a second chance - no more chances - avoid them like the plague
